All the projects in our lab are driven by unmet clinical need and purposed at drug developement.
Generally, positioning in immunology and oncobiology, we aim to better understand how T cells survive in the tumor microenvironment, especially in the setting of immune checkpoint blockade therapy. Major research interests: 1) how do tumor cell intrinsic pathways (especially chromosomal instablity related) affact the survival of infiltrated T cells ; 2) how do DNA-damaging therapies shape tumor immune microenvironment; 3) the roles of other immune factors (genes, immune cell subtypes) in durable anti-tumor T cell resoponse; 4) development of tumor vaccines, antibody drugs and immune cell therapies.
